Biography
Dr. Henry T. Evans has a long history of teaching, researching, and training in issues related to equity, justice and increasing community understanding. He earned his D.A. from Idaho State University and has worked both in and out of academia.
He is the Associate Dean for Outreach, Access, and Strategic Initiatives for the College of Arts and Sciences at WSU and provides strategic planning and leadership in developing, implementing, and sustaining initiatives that advance equity, inclusion, and community partnerships.
Informed by an abiding belief in the power of discourse and deliberative democracy,
Dr. Evans research focuses on deliberative democracy and understanding the role of policy and political narratives in administrative decision making related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
